Ragunan zoo has a big collection of animals (more than 4,000 animals consisting of 295 species). The animals are conserved in cages according to their kinds and original habitats. About 90% animals in this zoo are original Indonesian animals. The Ragunan zoo has especially been successful in its conservation program. It has been successful in conserving several kinds of animals, such as the Sumatran tiger, python snake, Komodo dragon, orangutan, and some species of birds including cassowary, long-tailed parakeet, parrot, and other kinds of animals. The zoo is also famous for its cool, fresh, and shady air. This is because it is surrounded by 50,000 shady trees and a pretty large well. Ragunan zoo provides many facilities, such as information center, carts, picnic grounds, camera film shops, restaurants, and souvenir sellers. Also, the zoo performs some special attractions for children. There are playing parks for children, Boat Park, Primate Center, and Tourism Raft. Besides that, there are animal attractions, including riding camels and elephants. Last but not least, there are animal acrobats and circus, such as orangutans show that goes around the zoo every day by cart. On Sundays or public holidays this zoo always becomes more crowded.
The entrance ticket into the zoo does not cost much, only Rp 5,000 for each person. To get to the ragunan zoo by public transport (bus), it costs Rp 3,000 and takes about 40 minutes from the Blok-M Bus Terminal in South Jakarta.

The park is about 1 kilometer south of Magelang city center. The park is actually situated on Jalan Cempaka, Magelang. From Magelang bus station you can get to KLP by taking a bus having the route of Magelang-Wonosobo or Magelang-Tidar, and you stop at the KLP site.
KLP is within an area of 28 acres, offering a very beautiful natural view and clean environment. This park is not far form Mount Merapi, so the atmosphere around the area is fresh and cool. KLP also offers amazing natural beauty and also complete collection of flora and fauna. This park combines the aspects of tourism and education. It is reflected in the library inside the park area. The Kyai Langgeng P area provides huts and seats under big trees for visitors to enjoy the views of green rice-field, valley, river, and rows of hills. Besides the beauty of the panorama around the KLP area, this park also provides supporting facilities for visitors who want to do a research, for example a library research. The library has numerous collections of books. In terms of flora and fauna, in KLP there are candlenut, sea putat, pili nut, Batoko plum, sausage trees, bael trees, manila tamarind trees, banyan trees, phyton snakes, deer, venison, arowana fish, antelope, ape, eagle, alligator, etc. KLP also provides visitors with facilities for rafting in the Progo Asri River.
To enter Kyai Langgeng P you are charged around Rp 6,000. However, to enjoy each ride in the park such as the water ride, mini train, merry-go-round, etc., you must pay about Rp 3,000 – Rp 11,000 per person. If you want to go rafting, you must be ready to pay Rp 100,000.

Some of the places of interest in Medan Tourism are Maimoon Palace, Mesjid Raya, Sri Mariammam Temple, Vihara Gunung Timur, Borobudur Temple, Medan Zoo, and Medan Swimming Pool. The Maimoon Palace, built in 1886 by the Sultan of Deli, is open to the public. The entrance fee is quite cheap. On Jalan Sisingamangaraja, not far from the Maimoon Palace, is Mesjid Raya, which was built in 1906. This mosque has an impressive dome of the Moorish style. Located 10 minutes from the mosque is the Sri Mariammam Temple. This Hindu temple was built in 1884. About 500 meters south of Sri Mariammam Temple is a Taoist temple called Vihara Gunung Timur. This temple is said to be the largest Chinese temple in Indonesia. Borobudur Temple is a Buddhist temple and is located on Jalan Imam Bonjol. If you need to relax, you can go to Medan Swimming Pool, located also on Jalan Sisingamangaraja and a long block down from Mesjid Raya. The swimming pool was expanded by the Dutch in 1939 and renovated by the Medan government in the early 1970’s. Entrance fee to the pool is Rp 6,000. Medan Zoo is a fairly rundown zoo located 10 kilometers from the Medan city center. The zoo has on display 86 different species of animals including Orangutan, Sumatran tigers and elephants.
The airport of Medan is called Polonia which is located 5 kilometers from Medan’s city center. From the airport to the city center it costs Rp35,000 by taxi. The airplane flight from Jakarta to Medan takes about 2 hours.  Medan Tourism

BATUAH AGRO TOURISM, East Kalimantan

It is located in the sub-district of Loa Janan, district of Kutai Kartanegara, province of East Kalimantan, and it was officially declared in July 2000 by the governor of East Kalimantan.
The total area of BAT object is 35 hectares, filled by various plants, for example ornamental plants, fruits, medicinal plants, and other rare plants. To enter BAT area, you do not need to pay any fees. BAT garden has about 914 kinds of plants that include fruits and vegetables. Specifically, the number of the fruit plants in this garden is 50 kinds from 75 varieties. Many fruits can be found there, such as durians, lychees, zalaccas, elais, and guavas. This BAT garden has become a conservation garden and a place for germ plasma collection in special horticultural plants. You may eat the fruits in the garden for free, but you have to buy the lychees if you want to take them home with you. The lychees cost Rp 4,000 per kg. You can enjoy some facilities in the area, such as a jogging track, a camping area, and a fishing pond. Fishing is free of charge, but taking the fish home costs you around Rp 30,000 per kg. Also, there is a verandah available to be used as a resting place and a prayer place.
To get to Batuah Agro (BAT) from Samarinda (the capital city of East Kalimantan), it takes about 50 minutes. And the travel from Balikpapan (a city next to Samarinda) to BAT takes about 75 minutes by car or public transport.

WONOSARI AGRO TOURISM, East Java

between the elevation of 950-1250 with temperatures between 19-26o C.
Wonosari Agro Tourism is managed by the state-owned company (PT Perkebunan) that has moved in the field of coffee, cocoa, rubber, tea, and horticulture. Agro Wonosari Tea Garden is one of a comfortable place to visit because of the mild climate conditions and the natural beauty panorama. Wonosari Agro Tourism is suitable for families, especially on weekends. Tourists who visit the tea plantation tourism can enjoy some of this attraction, recreation, sports, and activities to draw knowledge.Moreover, the visitors can also enjoy the natural charm of tea, breathe fresh air while walking or running, see the activity of the tea-picker, and how to draw knowledge about tea cultivation until it ready to be consumed.
The entrance fee in days (Monday-Saturday) is about Rp 5,000 per person, while on holidays (Sunday and national holidays etc.) the visitor will be required to pay Rp 6,000. There are some additional accommodation and facilities that invites the visitors and children to come, such as play ground, Mini Train ride, and Mini Golf. In this location, there is also available a swimming pool, self-service shops, stalls and telephone, outbound, sport horse, bicycle track, soccer field, volleyball, and tennis.
For those who want to stay, there are home stays available. It is affordable between Rp 100,000-Rp 300,000 per night, depends on the complement of the facilities provided, such as air conditioner and hot water shower.
